Profiles of our accredited Website Criteria consultants
Steven Smith BA, BEd, GDip Computing, MAICD
Steven Smith is one of Australia’s leading Internet consultants. He founded his first Internet company, United Focus Pty Ltd, in 1995.
He has written a book about managing websites, Living Websites, presented at Web conferences throughout Australia and in North America and has delivered workshops about the Web around Australia for industry groups, governments and not-for-profit organisations. He is quoted in publications such as the BRW, The Australian, The Age and Dynamic Small Business.
He wrote and developed the www.e-businessguide.gov.au website and the
"e-businessguide - getting started" booklet for the Australian Government. Steven has reviewed the websites of national organisations such as the National Archives of Australia, Elders Limited and the National Gallery of Victoria. He reviewed the Australian Government Information Management Office’s Better Practice Checklists and wrote new checklists. He led the development of the www.flexibilityworks.dewr.gov.au website and co-wrote the www.staysmartonline.gov.au website, both for the Australian Government.
Steven has vast experience developing online strategies for organisations and in assisting them achieve a healthy, in-house, online culture.
Chris Martin BEng (Hons)
Chris Martin is a highly experienced Web applications development engineer.
He has managed the IT services of a mid-size legal firm, developed Website Criteria's Benchmarking Database and database integration solutions for one of Australia's largest engineering firms.
